Sirus Falden was born and raised in the town of Britain in the year of our Lord 1271. He was the second of two sons of Nathan, and Candice Falden. For many generations the Faldens’ flourished as architects and blacksmiths in Britain. It was this family that had a hand in building Castle Blackthorn and also where Sirus would start his journey. One the partially completed guard towers collapsed sending a portion of the tower along with Sirus into the moat below.
Sirus survived the fall, and woke up hanging on debris from the castle construction project floating near the side of the moat. Freezing from the water, delirious, and weak. Sirus wandered northeast toward Covetous not knowing Britain was a few miles in the another direction. Before the sun would rise, Sirus collapsed and drew a last breath.. or so he thought. A contingent of soldiers on patrol found him. With them a mage that easily healed Sirus of all his wounds but could not restore his memory. The only procession was a simple smith’s hammer clasped to his belt with his name crudely scrawled upon it’s side. The soldiers claimed to be a local guild from Minoc calling themselves the Knights of Britannia.
Loyalty was sworn to the Knights of Britannia immediately. With no memory of Britain Sirus settled in Minoc where he continued his love for the art of forge and steel. Many coins found it's way to Sirus for his talents. He had made friends with all warriors in the town including a young adventurer named Jorus. Somehow they knew they would be friends for a lifetime. Sirus's passion still was to provide sword, shield, armor and repairs for the local group of knights that saved his life and protected the town of Minoc. Soon enough money was saved and Sirus found the humble little village of Cove and set up a shop. The relocation had only a slight change on his customers. For now they would journey to Cove in search of his services.
As time passed, Sirus wondered about his role in life. A sword used by a knight of virtue and forged by his hand could easily be used by evil. Sirus lusted for having that control over this. After providing enough armor to see the guild through more than it's share of battles he forged one last sword, a masterpiece named Falden's Blade. With determination, and a heavy weight on his heart, he set down his hammer, and picked up a sword. Not as if to examine the blade for imperfections or craftsmanship, but held the pommel as if to use it with purpose.
Sirus was everything the Knights of Britannia had hoped for to call their own. He found he also had a natural gift for magery and the arcane arts. One night, his mentor, Saliador, approached Sirus. He told him that Sirus had the potential of learning the highest circles of magic and that he would guide him. The sacrifice would mean he could never pick up his smiths hammer again, but it would also open new doors. After many battles and high honors, he was sworn into Knights of Britannia.
Sirus has served the guild for years and for a period of time lead the Guild as it’s 3rd guildmaster and passed on the mantle of leadership, accepting his role in the guild as one of the oldest active Knights of the Guild and loving husband of Mystic Rose. You can still find Sirus at the ancient Forums tower on Ice Isle Felucia or at Uberon’s workshop located in Trammel along the southern coastline of Fire Isle.
