Not satisfied with only a bow, he began selling hides from his kills to local merchants. Soon Sean fell in love with the swiftness and grace of fencing. This skill he soon mastered,
Three years of poor harvest hit Yew hard. Food was scarce and common people were becoming desperate. One late summer's eve the farm of Stephen was attacked by bandits. Stephen helpless against the attack tried desperately to save his family. Suddenly from out of the woods emerged Sean, taking on the bandits with the skill only he knew he possessed. His skill surprised the bandits, who after the lose of 2 of them retreated to the woods. Sean had saved the lives of his family except that of his mother. Heartbroken, Sean told his father it was time for him to venture into the unknown to learn the skills necessary to avenge his mother's death.
For several years Sean roamed from city to city, gaining knowledge and skill from some of the great warriors. He returned to his father's farm only to learn all had been killed in yet another bandit attack. He was now alone in the world. He gathered what was left of his family's belongings and returned to the only life he knew. He traveled from town to town working as a guild for hunters or as a guard for wealthy families. He was happy with his life, but something was missing.
While passing time one day in the Titan area north of Papua, He came across the Lady Furie. He was instantly drawn to her, for her eyes reminded him of his mother. Through their conversations he learned of a brotherhood of knights, The Knights of Britannia (KOB). He took Lady Furie up on her invitation to join them. Among their ranks, Sean flourished under the guidance of the greatest warriors he had ever known. KOB stood for all that Sean held dear : Honor, Loyalty and Justice.
